NLB Bank is aware of the importance of health care for a society and therefore a part of its CSR activities focuses on the health institutions in Montenegro. Last year bank organized a campaign “Small steps change the world for the better” from the end of September till December, and for each approved housing loan gave 100 € as its donation to the most endangered maternity wards for purchase necessary equipment. Bank collected the funds for maternity wards in amount of 10.000 € which is dedicated to the most endangered maternity wards, Bijelo Polje and Berane.
The official delivery of the voucher for the amount of 5000 € to each of the representatives of the maternity award in Bijelo Polje and Berane was held at a New Year event for corporate client in december 2017. On that occasion, bank invited all those who were present to donate. Necessary equipment for maternity wards will be handed over in this year.
This campaign is very important because the donation enabled purchase of necessary medical equipment and better conditions for mothers and newborn. During 2018. NLB Bank continues this campaign and invite everyone to take a part in campaign and donate money to one of the most sensitive segments of health care and thereby raise awareness of the importance of national significant institutions.
