As a leading beer manufacturer on the domestic market, Trebjesa Brewery has a clearly established working strategy in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
In the company they believe that the Brewery, as a beer manufacturer, is obliged and responsible for moderate and responsible alcohol consumption. Therefore, in 2009, they initiated the campaign „When I drive I don’t drink”. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of the drivers and other participants in traffic about the importance of responsible alcohol consumption and the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The main activities of the campaign are focused on education. Every year, in cooperation with the Police Department, the Month of Safety in Traffic is realized, when the focus is on educational messages of this campaign.
Apart from this, the Brewery has donated 23 alcometers to the Police Department in the previous 9 years.
,,When I drink, I don’t driveˮ campaign has become an important part of one of the biggest music festivals in the country „Lake Fest”, which gathers around tens of thousands visitors. Trebjesa Brewery in collaboration with the chosen transporter ensures discount on bus tickets and promotes this way to opt for organized transport and safe return home.
