Good and contemporary education system is important for social and economic development of the society. It enables prosperity for individuals as well as the society as a whole. When we invest in education, we invest in our future.
Throughout 2017, Erste Bank donated interactive smart boards and projectors for 16 elementary schools in Podgorica. The aim of the donation is to support modernization of the teaching process in schools and improvement of the quality of student learning. Schools covered by the donation initiative, as is estimated, have in total around 18,000 pupils.
Interactive boards have been donated to schools: Sutjeska, 21. maj, Vladimir Nazor, Branko Božović, Savo Pejanović, Pavle Rovinski, Maksim Gorki, Radojica Perović, Štampar Makarije, Milorad Musa Burzan, Marko Miljanov, Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin, Dr Dragiša Ivanović, Vuk Karadžić, Oktoih and Vlado Milić.
“Smart” boards were quickly implemented in the everyday life of pupils and their teachers, making learning process more simple, more fun and more creative.
This donation is part of the Erste Bank overall support to the education system. The donation was done on the occasion of the new Erste Bank headquarter opening, organized in June 2017. Along with education, Erste Bank supports initiatives, projects and institutions in the fields of culture and art, sport, inclusion of the vulnerable groups and environment protection, with the aim of supporting development and prosperity of the society.
