Aware that the education is one of the driving forces of social development, the company „Monte Credit” has put this topic as a focus of its social responsibility. The aim of this socially responsible initiative is to create improved conditions in elementary schools across Montenegro which require renovation and modernization. The company „Monte Credit has realized the importance corporative sector has in giving support which cannot always be insured by school budgets.
Therefore, the help was directed where it was needed. One of the donations was made to the elementary school “Nikola Đurković” in Kotor. This way, the school got new teaching equipment. Within the donation, new chairs and desks were purchased. Old furniture has been replaced with new which enabled improved conditions for both teachers and around 3000 pupils in this school.
Company „Monte Credit” also invested in elementary school „Drago Milović” in Tivat. This elementary is school is one of the largest elementary educational institutions in Montenegro due to the number of students enrolled. Having in mind that the number of students increases each year, there was a need for further investments. Therefore, the company „Monte Credit” donated the funds for improving air conditioning in this school attended by 1400 students.
