Except as the leading telecommunications company in the country, Crnogorski Telekom is also recognized by numerous philanthropic initiatives that it continuously implements. In order to improve its donor activities and achieve the greatest positive impact and investment effects in the community, in 2014, the company launched a long-term initiative in the field of social responsibility – “Za Svako Dobro”.
“Za Svako Dobro” is essentially conceived as a competition to support projects of particular importance to the community, whose implementation applies digital technologies. The competition is open to all civil society organizations from Montenegro.
“Za svako dobro” supports:
- Education and culture (media literacy and use of digital technologies in education of all generations, youth education in the STEM area – science, technology, engineering, mathematics, digital technologies in culture development and promotion)
- Environmental protection
- Inclusion of vulnerable groups and creation of equal opportunities for connection and inclusion in the digital society
What makes the concept specific is that the decision on donations and supporting the best projects is not brought by the company itself, but a special Commission, which, besides Telekom representatives, consists of civil society organizations, representatives of the media and the UN organizations. In this way, by combining knowledge and expertise with organizations from different sectors, it is ensured that support is provided to the best projects and that the community benefits most from their implementation.
Through “Za Svako Dobro” programme, 23 projects of special importance for the community have been supported so far, with a total value of €120,000.
