Children’s parks are very important for the psychophysical development of the children and creating the bond between them and the nature. Yet, we are aware that the equipment in children’s parks is often completely destroyed and that the parks lack grennery and trees. Therefore, the company „Sava osiguranje” has decide to celebrate the Day of the Sava Re Group in 2017 by doing good for the local environment together with its employees.
Around 70 employees of „Sava osiguranje“, from all across Montenegro, participated in the project of decoration of the children’s park in Bijelo Polje. Park has been in a very bad condition, therefore, volunteering initiative was aimed at decoration of the parks, cleaning, tree planting and decoration of the greenery, setting up new and renovating the existing benches. The key value of this action was in the volunteering spirit of the employees in „Sava osiguranje“, who recognized the importance of this initiative and donated their time for the common good.
Company „Sava osiguranje ˮ has shown that the great financial investment is not needed in order to take care and preserve the environment. This way, „Sava osiguranje“ has given an example of the company that is an active participant in the life of the community, encouraging socially responsible behaviour of its employees, preservation of the environment and responsibilty to the local community.
