Children with disabilities and people with disabilities need support to be provided so that they can use their opportunities and get involved in the contemporary trends of society. The platform – Social Network www.socijalnainkluzija.me – allows them exactly the mentioned option. More than 230 children and youth with disabilities and persons with disabilities, users of 13 daily centers in Montenegro, and volunteers can now communicate freely. The service was developed within the project “Social Network for the Young with Disabilities”, which is supported on the Telenor Foundation’s competition.
The platform is available to all daily centers, it is of a closed type and protected by SSL certificate. The mobile application is available on the Google Play Store for Android devices and on the App Store Store for iOS devices, called the Social Network for Social Inclusion. The main module of the platform contains a profile page, a publishers wall, notifications, friendship requests, layout settings, page and group creation, “like” option and posts tracking, and other. The platform also includes special modules for converting text into voice and voice into text, zooming in the letters and voice controls for application management, so that visually impaired people can easily use the service.
