Austria hosted the Special Olympics World Winter Games, which took place from 18 to 24 March 2017, with the participation of the Montenegrin team with as many as six team members.
UNIQA Group was the proud sponsor and insurance partner of this sporting event.
In order to provide support to athletes in the best way possible in addition to general sponsorship, UNIQA prepared an interesting activation #Make2017better on social networks aimed at providing additional financial support to the national teams from UNIQA countries with the largest number of posts with the hashtag #make2017better.
In addition, UNIQA Montenegro had another task – to introduce the public with the brave athletes comprising the Montenegro Special Olympics team.
We wanted to send them off to this great competition with the greatest possible support, and we succeeded in our intention thanks to: the UNIQA Insurance employees, our business partners, athletes and public figures, and also our followers on the official Facebook page, who joined the activation and selflessly supported the Montenegrin Special Olympics team on their way to medals.
The UNIQA Insurance employees were also part of the volunteer team at this prestigious competition.
Special Olympics Montenegro won as many as 7 medals in this competition!
