Painting of murals in Children’s Hospital in Podgorica

Students of the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University Mediterranean, in cooperation with management of the Children’s Hospital in Podgorica, decided to bring joy to their patients on the eve of New Year’s holidays and give them a holiday surprise.
Six students of specialist studies, within the subject Art Studio under the mentorship of prof. Marija Džoganović, painted the murals in order to make the stay of children in this institution more beautiful and pleasant.
At the Clinical Center of Montenegro, a Certificate of Appreciation was given to the Faculty of Visual Arts of the University of Mediterranean, as well as to the professor Marija Džoganović and students of specialist studies.
This socially responsible project was recognized by the Capital City, hense the Mayor of Podgorica, Slavoljub Stijepović, organized reception for students of the Faculty of Visual Arts in the premises of the Capital City. Mayor thanked the students and professors for the implementation of a project related to the painting of murals in the Children’s Hospital and pointed out that this is an initiative that is of great importance for the Capital.
